Wine, cheese and philanthropy will take the stage at one of HealthNet of Rock County’s annual fundraisers.

Pairings that Please will start at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Janesville Country Club, 2615 W. Memorial Drive. Tickets are $75 per person.

Attendees will be treated to tastes of Wisconsin artisan cheese paired with wine and Wisconsin beers. Various items, including a Chicago getaway to see the musical “Hamilton,” will be available in silent and live auctions, according to a news release.

This year’s theme is “A Taste of Broadway,” according to the release. Show tunes will be performed by local vocalists, including Christopher Aaron Smith.

The event raises nearly 10 percent of the nonprofit’s operations budget. For every dollar brought in, 94 cents are used for patient services.

“This year, the event is especially important, as we saw 45 percent more patients than the previous year, especially at our expanded dental clinic,” CEO Ian Hedges said in the release.

HealthNet will partner with Mercyhealth for the event.
