Highway 140 in Clinton is now open after it was closed briefly Friday afternoon for a traffic crash.

Clinton Police Chief Dave Hooker said a semitrailer truck failed to stop at the intersection of County X and Milwaukee Street at about 1:55 p.m.

The semi struck a passenger car that was legally turning southbound onto Highway 140. 

The driver of the car was a 90-year-old woman, who was transported to Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.
