Parents of Craig High School students were told Wednesday that officials plan an increased police presence over the next few days after a threat was found written in a school restroom.
District spokesman Patrick Gasper said the threat, which police do not believe is credible, was found Monday. He did not know any details about the threat.
After two days of police investigation, school authorities decided to let parents know about the threat and that more police than usual will be assigned to the school, Gasper said.
No backpack searches are planned, Gasper said.
