The Diversity Action Team of Rock County will hold another of its “speed-friending” events Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Merrill Community Center, 1428 Wisconsin Ave., Beloit.

The event is an effort to help people “bridge diversity gaps” in their lives, according to a news release.

Sponsoring the program are Yellow Brick Road, Janesville Police Department’s African American Liaison Advisory Committee and Latino Liaison Advisory Committee, Beloit League of Women Voters, Justice Overcoming Borders, Hedberg Public Library, Community Action’s Fatherhood Program and the YWCA of Rock County.
