The Milton School District raised more than $18,000 for the Wisconsin Special Olympics through this year’s Polar Plunge, according to a news release.
The event was held Feb. 10 in Whitewater. The high school raised $7,500, and the middle school raised $8,000, according to the release.
Fundraisers at Northside Intermediate and Harmony Elementary topped off the donations. The $18,000 total was the most of any one participating organization, according to the release.
