Beloit Turner School District officials are holding an informational meeting Saturday, March 3, to discuss the referendum that will be on the April 3 ballot.

The $26.8 million referendum would close Townview Elementary, pay for a new elementary school and augment funds to enhance the STEM programs in the high school.

“We think we have listened and come up with a good plan,” school board President John Turner said at the first informational meeting Feb 12. “We’re trying to be really transparent with you.”

The meeting will be held at the Beloit Turner High/Middle School library at 10 a.m., and members of the public are invited. School administration officials and school board members will be in attendance to present further information about the referendum. does not condone or review every comment.
