Police arrested an Edgerton man on a charge of fourth-offense OWI on Sunday morning after they said the man drove off the roadway and hit a tree, according to a Rock County sheriff’s news release.

A Rock County sheriff’s deputy and an Edgerton police officer said in the release they arrested Andrew C. Brieske, 31, after he drove a truck that went off the roadway behind the Off the Hook Tavern, 3515 W. County M, Indianford. Police were dispatched to the scene at 12:10 a.m. Sunday.

Police said Brieske showed signs of impairment, according to the release. No injuries were reported from the incident.

Brieske was taken to the Rock County Jail before a court appearance scheduled for today, according to the release.
