A Janesville man was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on a charge of illegally re-entering the country after being deported, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin.

Luis Alberto Torres-Diaz, 31, a citizen of Honduras living in Janesville, was found in the United States on Dec. 17, according to the release. No other details were given.

If convicted, Torres-Diaz faces a penalty of up to two years in federal prison, according to the release.
