JANESVILLE—Police on Saturday night arrested a Janesville man on charges of fourth-offense OWI and hit and run, according to a Janesville police news release.

Police arrested Eliseo A. Ramirez, 30, after they were dispatched at 10:54 p.m. to a report of a hit and run at Memorial Drive and Randall Avenue, according to the release. The driver whose car was struck gave police a description of the vehicle, license plate number and description of the driver.

Shortly thereafter, police arrested Ramirez on the 800 block of East Court Street, the release states. He is being held at the Rock County Jail.

Ramirez was also arrested on a charge of operating after revocation, according to the release.
