The Wisconsin Department of Corrections has announced Thursday that a convicted sex offender is relocating to a motel on Janesville’s east side.
Kevin W. Spaulding, 53, of Janesville will be moving to the Lannon Stone Motel, 1524 E. Racine St., Janesville, by Monday, Dec. 18.
Spaulding, who is also known as “K-Money” and “Kevo,” according to the state’s sex offender registry, was previously convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child on Sept. 4, 2007; first-degree sexual assault of a child on Dec. 8, 1993; and third-degree sexual assault on Feb. 9, 1990.
The registry says Spaulding is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 265 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
Court records show Spaulding was found guilty in May 2017 in Rock County of violating a “lifetime supervision condition,” a misdemeanor offense.
While he is at the Lannon Stone, Spaulding faces conditions of supervision that include: no unapproved activities without approval by a department of corrections supervisor; no contact with minors; no patronizing taverns, bars or liquor stores; no contact with victims; and no consumption of alcohol or drugs.
Spaulding must comply with standard sex offender rules and cooperate with GPS monitoring, the department of corrections said.
