CLINTON

The Clinton Police Department is searching for a 34-year-old Clinton man who is suspected of manufacturing, possessing and distributing crack cocaine, according to a post on Police Chief Dave Hooker's public Facebook page.

The post says police are seeking Wayne A. Zimdars, who is described as being a white male, 6-feet-4-inches tall and 200 pounds. Police consider him dangerous, according to the post.

Clinton police officers and the Rock County sheriff's officials served a search warrant at a house at 728 Meadow Park Drive on May 9 and found evidence that drug activity was taking place there, according to the post.

Authorities also responded to a reported double heroin overdose at that address April 30.

Zimdars is also suspected of burglary to Rock'n Rogers North tavern in Clinton, according to the post.

Anyone with information on Zimdars should call 911 or the Rock County Communications Center nonemergency line at 608-757-2244.
