A Delavan man was arrested Sunday after allegedly shooting at a vehicle during a road rage incident, according to a Rock County Sheriff’s Office news release.

At 3:30 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a belated shots fired complaint. An investigation determined a motorist shot at another vehicle near North Harmony Town Hall and East Wilcox roads, Janesville, according to the release.

Jamie L. Blair, 18, of 4105 Pleasant St., Delavan, was arrested on a felony charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety.

The incident started on Milton Avenue in Janesville and continued north on Highway 26 to North Harmony Town Hall Road, where both vehicles turned south.

The unidentified victim said once near East Wilcox Road, the shooter passed the victim and began shooting at the victim’s vehicle, according to the release.

The victim followed the shooter to try to get a license plate number, which took them to the intersection of Cobblestone Road and East Highway 11 in Walworth County. It was then the victim called police, according to the release.

Walworth County deputies responded and completed a high-risk traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle, detaining three suspects inside. They were interviewed, and Blair was arrested, according to the release.
