The Rock County Conservationists will sponsor a winter wildlife hike on the Storrs Lake segment of the Ice Age Trail from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27.

Participants should meet in the parking lot of the Storrs Lake Wildlife Area on the east end of Storrs Lake Road.

The late afternoon timing of the hike will allow naturalist Dave Bendlin to try his owl-calling skills in the hopes of hearing and seeing owls that live in the area.

Participants should dress for the weather and for hiking on snow-covered trails. does not condone or review every comment. Read more in our Commenter Policy Agreement
