The new Bark Park Dog Park is now open to the public at the corner of Jefferson Street and Starin Road in Whitewater.

The park is part of the dog park relocation project to upgrade facilities for pets and their owners. An area designed for small and medium-sized dogs and a larger space for all dogs is open. The park is open from dawn to dusk and includes picnic tables and benches, garbage cans, and Mutt Mitts for easy pet clean-up.

A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at the park. The opening will have activities and giveaways to celebrate the new location.
