Two arrested in burglary case

— Police have arrested a second person in connection with a recent wave of residential burglaries.

Kenneth E. Harris II, 31, of 607 E. Milwaukee St., No. 1W, Janesville was taken into custody Sunday for a probation hold, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.

On Saturday, Town of Beloit police arrested Misty L. Kvistad, 35, 1516 Sylvester St., Janesville, on charges of burglary and a probation violation. Additional charges are pending.

The arrests come after an investigation of a number of residential burglaries on Janesville's south side by the Janesville Street Crimes Unit. The investigation uncovered a drug house and fencing operation at 924 E. Grand Street, Beloit.

A search warrant executed by the Beloit Police Department SWAT team revealed a stash of stolen household electronics and other items valued at $40,000.
