-- JOHN R. BERG, 19, no fixed address, at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the Rock County Jail, Janesville, on three counts of exposing a child to harmful material. He is accused of sending sexually explicit text messages to girls ages 16 or younger. He told police he was homeless but was staying at a home on Lone Rock Road in the town of Magnolia.
-- KEITH A. SIMONSON, 43, of 6002 Holden Road, Brodhead, at 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock County Jail on five counts of theft, two counts of burglary, two counts of trespassing, property damage and suspicion of parole violation. He is accused of burglarizing a home on South Tollefsen Road in the town of Spring Valley on Feb. 9.
-- JOHN L. HODGES III, 44, of 1227 W. Fulton St., Edgerton, at 3:56 p.m. Monday at home on charges of substantial battery and disorderly conduct. He is accused of fighting a man whom he knows.

-- BURGLARY AND THEFT reported at 5:51 p.m. March 14 on West Mineral Point Road, Janesville. Reported stolen from a garage were two hand-held grinders, a heater and a trailer.
-- BURGLARY AND THEFT reported at 2:20 p.m. Friday on South Milton Shopiere Road, Janesville. Reported stolen were a television, three laptop computers, a wireless router, two jewelry boxes and jewelry.
Charged
-- COLLEEN K. BRINKMEIER, 50, Loves Park., Ill., with two counts of forgery and receiving stolen property. She is accused of cashing stolen checks at Menards in Janesville in December. She faces similar charges in Illinois.
-- DJUANA T. EDWARDS, 26, Madison, with felony retail theft. She is accused of taking three laptop computers from Best Buy in Janesville on Jan. 12. The computers were valued at $2,200.
-- TEQULIA J. PERKINS, 36, of 1983 Nelson Ave., Beloit, with first-offense food stamp fraud. She is accused of failing to report jobs and accepting $4,832 in benefits for which she was not eligible between August 2010 and April 2012.
-- KERRI L. MORGA, 34, of 1629 Moore St., Beloit, with food stamp fraud. She is accused of failing to report a new adult member in her household and accepting $5,865 in benefits for which she was not eligible between December 2011 and August 2012.
-- KIMBERLY D. HATLEVIG, 40, of 451 Acorn Drive, Beloit, with felony bail jumping and retail theft. She is accused of taking items from Woodman's in Janesville on Jan. 15.
-- SHELBY J. NELSON, 37, of 4445 N. Coon Island Road, Evansville, with food stamp fraud. She is accused of misreporting the number of adults living in the home and was paid $7,358 in benefits for which she was not eligible between June 2011 and July 2012.
