— Residents of the Janesville School District can help frame the debate in an upcoming school board candidates forum.

Three incumbents and three challengers are vying for three seats on the board in the April 2 elections.

Questions should be emailed to sdjforum@janesville.k12.wi.us. Submission deadline is Friday, March 15.

The Janesville League of Women Voters and Janesville Area Council-PTA will review the questions and prepare them for the forum.

The forum will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the Educational Services Center, 527 S. Franklin St.

Teresa Arrowood will serve as moderator. Residents can watch the forum live or view from home on cable TV or the Internet.

The telecast will be live on Janesville cable channels 96 and 993 and on the Internet at janesville.pegstream.com, which shows the same video feed that appears on TV.

The program will be shown multiple times on cable and at janesville.pegstream.com. Show times will be listed later on the district's website, janesville.k12.wi.us.

The forum also will be available on demand any time at janesville.pegstream.com, where recordings of Janesville School Board meetings also are available.

The candidates are incumbents Karl Dommershausen, Kristin Hesselbacher and Peter D. Severson and challengers Diane Eyers, Fredrick Jackson and Cathy Myers.

The winners will join the nine-member board in April.
