Red Hawks race past Norskies

A quick start carried Milton High's girls basketball team to victory Tuesday night.

The Red Hawks raced out to a 19-11 laed after one quarter and cruised to a 65-58 win over DeForest in a Badger South Conference crossover game.

Morgan Blumer had a game-high 21 points for Milton, while Liz Westrick added 15.

MILTON 65, DeFOREST 58

Milton (65)—Blumer, 8-3-21; Stair, 2-1-6; Westrick, 5-3-15; Bucholtz, 2-0-4; Davis, 3-0-9; Harms, 3-3-10. Totals: 24-10-65.

DeForest (58)—Klein, 2-0-4; Goth, 8-4-21; Kahl, 4-3-11; Trapino, 3-1-7; Loose, 1-0-2; Miller, 1-0-2; Midthem, 1-3-5; Opsahl, 2-0-6. Totals: 21-11-58.
