Elkhorn girls hang on to down Delavan-Darien

Elkhorn took an 11-point lead into the fourth quarter and needed it as the Elks had to fend off a Delavan-Darien rally to complete a 64-62 victory in Southern Lakes Conference girls basketball Tuesday night.

Four players led a balanced scoring attack for the visiting Elks.

Erin Schahczinski led the way with 17 points.

Kylie Collins scored 26 points, including a 3-for-5 performance from three-point range, to lead the Comets.
