Craig registers gymnastics win

Craig High defeated the Madison East/Madison La Follette co-op 125.65-111.975, Monday in Big Eight Conference girls gymnastics.

Craig is 3-2 in the Big Eight.

Ashley McGoey won the balance beam (8.325) and the floor exercise (8.325) for Craig. Ashley Pohlman won the vault (8.85) and Sarah Holford won the all-around (28.825).

"We have some things to work on, and we could have been a little shaper," Craig coach Jean Welch said. "But the girls did a pretty nice job."

Craig travels Thursday to Madison Memorial.
