Brodhead girls pull away
Brodhead High's girls basketball team had to rally late Tuesday night to remain unbeaten on the season.
With the game tied at 39-39 after three quarters, the Cardinals erupted for 24 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 63-52 nonconference win over Lakeside Lutheran.
Brodhead, behind Kylie Moe's 18 points, improved to 14-0 on the season.
Carly Mohns added 16 points for Brodhead, and Taylor Douglas chipped in 11.
