Elkhorn High defeated Union Grove, 48-45, Monday in Southern Lakes Conference girls basketball.

The Elks took a 40-35 lead into the fourth quarter and held on for the victory.

Jessica Hauser scored a game-high 17 points for the Elks (6-8, 3-4). Becca Maier scored 10 for the Broncos (5-9, 3-5).

Breanna Gaspervich scored 26 points, Rachel Atchison added 20 and Katrina Santos chipped in 10 to lead East Troy to the nonconference victory.
