Warhawks remain two games behind

A balanced attack led UW-Whitewater's men's basketball team to victory Tuesday night.

Quardell Young scored 11 points and was one of eight Warhawks with seven or more points as Whitewater cruised past UW-Oshkosh, 68-50, in a WIAC game.

Whitewater (13-3, 6-2) remained two games behind front-running UW-Stevens Point (8-0) with the win.

The Warhawks built a 10-point halftime lead and never looked back.

Eric Bryson and Darnell Harris added 10 points each for Whitewater, which shot 50 percent from the field (26-52).
