-- THEFT reported at 3:02 p.m. Monday at Impact Confections, 4017 Whitney St., Janesville. Reported stolen was a cooling system valued at $16,000.

-- BURGLARY reported at midnight Jan. 5 to Newark Town Hall, 9528 Beloit Newark Road, town of Newark. Papers and boxes were scattered from tables, and voting equipment was moved. A glass display case valued at $600 was reported damaged. Nothing was reported stolen.

Accidents

-- HOLIDAY DRIVE AND MILTON AVENUE, Janesville, at 11:54 a.m. Jan. 12. Jessica M. Gates, 22, of 6262 N. Lochwood Drive, Janesville, was leaving a parking lot at Janesville Plaza and drove into the side of a JTS bus driven by Kathy M. Mullikin, 56, of 1713 Willard Ave., Janesville. The bumper of Gates' car scraped along the length of the bus. A passenger on the bus, Leslie L. Ackley, 49, of 403 S. Jackson St., Janesville, was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Gates was ticketed for failure to yield.

-- RANDOLPH ROAD AT LIBERTY LANE, Janesville, at 12:56 p.m. Monday. Dinah L. Rhodes, 68, of 2905 S. Read Road, Janesville, was stopped at the southbound stop sign on Liberty Lane. She turned right onto Randolph into the path of a car backing out of a driveway driven by Jacqueline R. Pastore, 23, of 2016 Sunnyside St., Janesville. Rhodes was transported with injuries to St. Mary's Janesville hospital where she was treated and released. Pastore was ticketed for failure to yield.
