-- JEFFREY S. KELBEL, 23, Oregon, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 600 W. Milwaukee St., Janesville, on charges of party to forgery and party to financial card crimes. At the same time, police arrested KRISTI L. SCHMIDT, 23, of N6170 Lake Lorraine Road, Delavan, on charges of forgery, financial card crimes and receiving stolen property. They are accused of being in possession of stolen credit cards.
-- KIMBERLY L. BRAXTON, 49, of 1524 E. Racine St., Janesville, at 5:28 p.m. Friday at Mercy Clinic South, 849 Kellogg Ave., Janesville, on charges of burglary, criminal trespass to a medical facility and theft. Clinic employees reported finding Braxton rummaging through an employee's purse in a medical records area.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- RICARDO VELASO SALINAS, 22, Johnson Creek, at 7:10 a.m. Jan. 1 on Highway 26 near Arthur Drive in the town of Milton. He also was ticketed for driving without insurance and inattentive driving.
-- JENNIFER L. MCCOOL, 33, of 306 Kellogg Ave., Janesville, at 2:09 a.m. Sunday at Milwaukee and Wisconsin streets in Janesville. An officer reported seeing McCool drive the wrong way on a one-way street.

-- BURGLARY reported at noon Dec. 29 at Beckman Mill County Park, 10604 S. County H, Beloit. Reported stolen from the gift shop were pens.
Accidents
-- KELLOGG AND OAKHILL AVENUES, Janesville, at 4:10 p.m. Jan. 7. Matthew F. Koch, 21, of 621 S. Jackson St., Janesville, was driving west on Kellogg Avenue toward Oakhill. Emily H. Reeves, 79, of 1903 S. River Road, Janesville, was driving south on Oakhill. Their cars collided in the intersection. Koch was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. A 3-year-old passenger also was transported to a hospital with injuries, but the child's condition was not available. Reeves was ticketed for disregarding a traffic sign.
-- HIGHWAY 14 AND PONTIAC DRIVE, Janesville, at 5:33 p.m. Jan. 7. Shena J. Kohler, 31, of 1725 Garden Drive, Janesville, was accelerating east from a stop at the light on Highway 14 when her car was rear-ended by a car driven by Joan F. Fischer, 57, of 605 E. Countryside Drive, Evansville. Kohler was treated and released at St. Mary's Janesville Hospital. Fischer was ticketed for following too closely.
Charged
-- TROY A. ALSTEENS, 37, of 1133 S. Cherry St., Janesville, with obstructing, resisting and felony bail jumping. He is accused of giving a false name and failing to obey a deputy's orders during a traffic stop on Jan. 4 in Janesville. The bail jumping charge is the result of a reported failure to appear in court in July 2008 in a misdemeanor case.
-- ANDREW J. BILLIPS, 30, of 6 Broadway St., Edgerton, with felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped Billips for a burned-out license plate lamp Tuesday on Interstate 90/39 in the town of La Prairie. The trooper reported finding 5 grams of marijuana and a pipe.
-- AARON M. SCOTT, 27, no fixed address, Janesville, with two counts of forgery. Scott is accused of cashing two stolen checks for $135 and $110 at a Milton bar in December.
