Wilmot girls pulling away in SLC race

The beat goes on for Wilmot High's girls basketball team.

Kari Clements scored 23 points, including five three-point baskets, to lead the unbeaten Panthers to a 55-33 win over Elkhorn in a Southern Lakes Conference game Tuesday night.

Wilmot (12-0, 7-0), ranked fourth in the state in Division 2, raced out to an 11-4 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

-- Badger 54, Burlington 37—Lilly Quinn and Karina Reeves combined for 29 points to lead the Badgers to the Southern Lakes win.

Badger (5-4, 4-1) remained in sole possession of second place with the win.

Kylie Collins had nine points to lead Delavan-Darien (0-10, 0-6).
