UW-Rock County teams lose
WAUKESHA UW-Waukesha swept visiting UW-Rock County's men's and women's basketball teams Monday.
The women lost to Waukesha 63-40 and the men fell 76-45. The Rattlers played shorthanded in each game.
The Rock County women are 9-5
Rock County had only five women available and none reached double figures, while the men were slightly better off with just seven players.
Waukesha took a 35-15 first-half lead over the women and the Rock County men trailed 41-14 at the half.
Three UW-Rock women were out ill and three others left at the semester. The men lost two players at semester, including the team's second-leading scorer.
UW-Rock will try and regroup Wednesday against visiting UW-Fox Valley. The women play at 5:30 p.m. and the men follow at 7:30 p.m.
