DDHS, Elkhorn among boys basketball winners

Delavan-Darien High defeated Jefferson, 63-60, Monday in nonconference boys basketball.

Stephan Rodriguez hit a basket and a three-point play in the fourth quarter to put the Comets ahead 61-60. Delavan-Darien hit two free throws and held Jefferson scoreless the final 19 seconds to gain the victory.

Nolan Dodge scored 12 points to lead Delavan-Darien. Rodriguez and Jesse Collins scored 11 points apiece and Dan Supernaw chipped in 10 for the Comets (3-8).

Drew Bryson scored a game-high 19 points and Arik Anderson added 11 for the Elks.

Tim Goulet-Daigneault scored 13 points and Carter Hehr added 11 for Big Foot.

-- Badger (55), Whitewater 39—Jake Kozlowski scored seven of his 15 points in the decisive third quarter to lead Badger past host Whitewater in nonconference action Monday.

The Whippets led by four points after the first quarter and built the lead to seven at 21-14 by halftime.

The Badgers (5-6) rallied in the third quarter, outscoring Whitewater, 23-10, to take a 37-31 lead. Lincoln Wieseman had five of his 12 points in the third quarter.

Brett Harms led the Whippets (1-11) with 15 points, including four three-pointers.

LAKE GENEVA BADGER 55, WHITEWATER 39
