Accidents
- HIGHWAYS 14 AND 59 in the town of Union at 6:19 p.m. Wednesday. Joshua J. Miller, 28, of 1038 Prairie Ave., Beloit, was driving south around a curve on Highway 14 when his tire blew out, causing his car to swerve across the centerline. Miller’s car struck a car driven by Michael J. Reilly, 30, of 328 1/2 Second St., Evansville. Reilly was transported to a local hospital with injuries, but his condition was not available. Deputies issued no citations.
Charged
- MICHAEL D. HENNING II, 28, of 3605 Park View Drive, Janesville, with maintaining a drug-trafficking place, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Since January, investigators found a number of suspected drug-packaging items in Henning’s trash. They executed a search warrant on Wednesday and found 10 grams of marijuana as well as the drug paraphernalia.

- BURGLARY, THEFT AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, reported at 6 a.m. Jan. 3 in the 1900 block of Roxbury Road, Janesville. A garage door was broken in and copper pipes valued at $375, a brass water meter valued at $100, a dehumidifier valued at $200 and a ceiling fan valued at $50 were taken from the vacant house.
