East Troy girls finish perfect Rock sweep
East Troy High hammered Whitewater, 68-48, Thursday to put an emphatic stamp on an undefeated Rock Valley North season.
The Trojans are 21-1 overall and finished 16-0 in the league. Whitewater suffered two of its three losses to East Troy and are 19-3 overall and finished 13-3 in the Rock North.
The Whippets held an 18-15 lead after the first quarter, but faultered in the second quarter as the Trojans rolled to an 18-4 advantage for a 33-22 lead at halftime. The Trojans finished off the Whippets with a 21-8 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Rachel Atchison scored 20 points, including six 3-point baskets, and Andre Olsen added 17 points for East Troy. Brooke Trewyn scored 16 points and teammate Kailey Reynolds added 13 points for Whitewater.

Whitney Oren had 13 points to lead Edgerton, which made seven free throws in the fourth.
Kayla Klitzman had 12 points to pace Evansville.
Edgerton hosts Evansville in a WIAA Division 3 regional opener Tuesday.

-- Turner 53, Palmyra-Eagle 47—The Trojans rallied for a 24-10 advantage in the fourth quarter to wipe out a 37-29 third-quarter deficit and defeat the Panthers.
Turner is 17-5 overall and finished 11-5 in the Rock North. Palmyra-Eagle is 9-13 and 2-14.
Caitlyn Rautsaw scored a game-high 18 points, Sam Morateck added 12 points and Emily Byal chipped in 11 for Palmyra-Eagle. Kayla Washburn scored 11 points and Ashley Himmelmann added 10 points for Turner.
