Noah Johnson played spoiler Tuesday night.

The Milton High guard banked in a halfcourt shot as time expired to give the Red Hawks a 44-41 win over Monroe in a key Badger South Conference boys game.

Monroe had a chance to earn at least a share of the Badger South title with a win but slipped to 7-4 in the conference—tied with Monona Grove and Stoughton with one game left.

Milton (10-11, 4-7) trailed by nine at half but rallied thanks to a 29-17 advantage in the second half.

Luke Ganz and Johnson finished with 12 points each for Milton.

Monroe lost leading scorer Joe Lattimer to a possible season-ending knee injury early in the first quarter.
