— Not even a career night by Jacki Gulczynski could save the University of Wisconsin’s women’s basketball team Thursday.

Gulczynski poured in 32 points and added 15 rebounds but Ohio State got 16 points from Ashley Adams and two late free throws from Ameryst Alston in a 65-59 double-overtime win.

Wisconsin (10-13, 2-8) led 52-50 with less than a second remaining, but Alston sent the game into overtime with a basket as time expired.

The Badgers trailed by one with 4:27 left in overtime, but the Buckeyes put the game away from the foul line—going 3-for-5 down the stretch.

Wisconsin lost Tiera Stephen to a knee injury early in the game and were down to only eight players after that.

Wisconsin hosts Indiana on Sunday.
