God made a farmer .... powerful ... brought back fond memories of my Dad. Lost him in 2003. I can remember bottle feeding young animals and keeping them in a box by the heat register in the house trying to help them survive. He was a temporary high school ag teacher for a few months after college and was offered a full time job. He asked Mom if she wanted him to be happy or for them to have money on a regular basis. She said "happy" so he turned down the teaching job and farmed the rest of his life (including the later years he worked as a social worker plus farmed to keep us from losing the farm). He hated to be away from the farm even one night even when he did not have livestock ready to bear young. It takes a special person to be a good teacher but also takes a special person to be a good farmer. IMO

5. Strange how all these pro-gun rights people are dropping dead. Another "programmed" assassination by a deranged person. Strange how all these killers are on meds and have mental issues....such a convenient excuse.
