— One of the tires was almost flat, the exhaust was defective, and the driver had just made an unsafe lane deviation. When the officer made contact with the driver of the car in question, he smelled of intoxicants.

At 5:32 p.m. Saturday, the driver, Timothy F. Graesslin, 52, of 1309 S. Terrace St., Janesville, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated, operating after revocation, operating without an adequate muffler and a warrant though Rock County Sheriff's Office for having a dog at large, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.

State Department of Transportation records showed Graesslin has four drunken-driving convictions, according to the news release.

A breath test at the police department revealed Graesslin's blood-alcohol concentration to be 0.22. He is being held at the Rock County Jail.
