Badger shuts out Delavan-Darien

Lake Geneva Badger put up 534 yards of total offense to remain in first place in the Southern Lakes Conference on Friday night.

The Badgers built a 37-0 halftime lead en route to a 44-0 victory at Delavan-Darien.

Seven different players scored for the Badgers, now

3-0 in the SLC and 3-1 overall.

Collin Broderick threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Robert Slagle, and added a

6-yard touchdown run to close out the first half.

Peter Krein rushed for 123 yards on just four carries, while Robert Johnson carried 11 times for 102 yards.

Broderick rushed for 74 yards, while Allen Andrew finished with 62 yards rushing, including a 58-yard touchdown run to close out the scoring.

The Comets (1-2, 1-3) were held to 58 total yards and two first downs.

n Waterford 20, Elkhorn 13—Alex Thomaschek rushed for three touchdowns to lead Waterford past visiting Elkhorn.

Thomaschek scored on runs of 17, 13 and 3 yards as Waterford kept pace with Lake Geneva Badger on top of the Southern Lakes with 3-0 records.

The Elks (1-2, 1-3) cut Waterford’s lead to 13-6 in the third quarter when Arik Anderson hit Drew Bryson with a 55-yard pass.

Thomaschek then scored on a 3-yard run, before Anderson hit Logan Mohr with a

3-yard pass for the final margin.

Anderson completed 11 of 23 passes for 209 yards. Bryson caught four passes for 95 yards.
