— Store clerks believe a thief stole thousands of dollars worth of hair replacement medication and other personal care products from Janesville Kmart, police reported.

According to a Janesville Police Department report:

A Hispanic male came into the Kmart store at 2233 Humes Road at about 1:51 p.m. Monday and took an undisclosed amount of the hair replacement therapy product Rogaine. He also took tooth-whitening strips, disposable razor heads and other items.

The report listed the total value of items stolen at $3,000.

The man might have been driving a silver pickup truck, according to the report.

The store managers did not initially report the items as stolen because at the time, they were unaware of the scope of the theft, police said.

The report did not mention whether the thief was balding or bearded or had discolored teeth.
