Badger remains undefeated in Lakes football

Peter Krien was a one-man wrecking crew for Lake Geneva Badger on Friday night.

The senior quarterback rushed for 206 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Badger to a 35-0 win over Westosha Central in a Southern Lakes game.

Krien scored the first two touchdowns of the game to make it 13-0 in the second quarter and then hit Jacob Kozlowski for a 10-yard scoring play to make it 21-0 at half.

Badger (2-1, 2-0) limited Westosha to 209 yards of total offense while piling up 428 of its own, including 418 yards rushing.

n Wilmot 41, Elkhorn 6—Bennett Kothe ran for touchdowns covering 3 and 6 yards and caught a 20-yard scoring pass from Noah Strasser as the visiting Panthers overran the host Elks.

Kothe gained 73 yards on 21 attempts as Wilmot won for the first time in three games. Strasser also threw scoring passes to Matt Christensen covering 41 yards and to Erik Nevoso covering 27 yards.

Sam Kemp hit Logan Mohr with a 26-yard touchdown pass for the Elks’ lone score. Elkhorn is 1-1 in the conference and 1-2 overall.

n Delavan-Darien 27, Union Grove 12—The Comets got their first win of the season thanks to 110 yards rushing and a touchdown from Stephen Rodriguez.

Delavan-Darien (1-2, 1-1) led 14-0 at half and got second-half touchdowns from Jesse Collins on a 39-yard run and John Damrow on a 38-yard interception return.
