— Clinton scored two runs in the top of the 10th inning to defeat Beloit, 7-5, and send the Midwest League first-round playoff series to a third and deciding game tonight at Pohlman Field.

Tonight's deciding game starts at 6:30.

Miguel Sano, the Midwest League's homer and RBI leader, gave the Snappers a 4-2 lead in the fourth inning with a three-run shot.

The LumberKings tied it in the fifth, but the Snappers regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Matt Koch doubled and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by Nate Roberts.

The Snappers could not hold the lead, as Clinton tied it in the eighth.
