Craig, Parker tennis teams lose
The No. 2 doubles team of Hayley Hughes and Kenzie Trappe was the lone highlight Tuesday for the Janesville Craig girls tennis team.
Madison Memorial swept the singles competition and two of the three doubles matches in a 6-1 Big Eight Conference win.
Craig (2-4) struggled in singles but played well despite losing two of three in doubles.
"That's probably the best Hayley and Kenzie have played all year, and Leah (Voskuil) and Miranda (Mishleau) lost a tough one at No. 1 doubles," Craig coach Bill Peyer said.
"Memorial has a real nice team and we knew it was going to be a tough match."
Craig hosts Big Eight powerhouse Middleton on Thursday.
