-- THEFT at 6:17 p.m. Saturday. A man reported to Janesville police that someone entered his locked vehicle, which was parked in the parking ramp at 13 N. Parker Drive between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Saturday, and took a pair of Oakley sunglasses, an iPod, a Sony digital camera and coins, with a total value of $503.
-- THEFT at 4:43 p.m. in the 2500 block of Lucerne Ave., Janesville. A man reported someone he knew took about $2,600 in items from his home, including a collectible toy NASCAR vehicle, a vacuum cleaner, a laptop computer, a 50-gallon air compressor, a wrench set and headphones. Police said they recovered most of the items after the person who took them used them to pay a taxi driver for a fare.
