Arrests

-- A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Parker High School, 3125 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, was referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of a dangerous weapon other than a gun at school. He is accused of bringing two black kitchen steak knives to school.

-- ASHLEA L. MAREK, 21, of 512 W. Holmes St., No. 200, Janesville, at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday at home on a charge of strangulation.

-- RYAN L. GRANT, 28, of 203 N. Washington St., No. 4, Janesville, at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday at Washington and Elizabeth streets, Janesville, on charges of theft and burglary.

-- ANGELA N. WILLIAMS, 26, Neshkoro, at 12:02 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock County Jail on a bench warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a previous charge of misappropriation of identification.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- HERNAN PEREZ GREGORIO, 21, of 1279 Central Ave., Beloit, at 1:29 a.m. Monday on Highway G north of Townline Road in the town of Rock. Perez also was ticketed for operating without a license and without insurance.

-- DAVID A. STACKHOUSE, 54, of 1105 Kellogg Ave., Lot C7, at 4:49 a.m. Friday on Goede Road north of Highway 59. He also was ticketed for driving with open intoxicants.

-- MICHAEL R. DECKARD, 22, Winnebago, Ill., at 1:36 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of 717 Genesis Drive, Orfordville.

Reported

-- BURGLARY in the 400 block of Race Street, Janesville, reported at 10:55 a.m. Sunday. Reported stolen were a safe, $780 in cash and personal papers.

-- BURGLARY in the 700 block of Miller Avenue, Janesville, reported at 3:13 p.m. Tuesday. Reported stolen were two iPods, a necklace and charms, two DVD players and a baseball cap, all valued at $445.

-- BURGLARY at 7:10 a.m. Thursday to a home in the 2000 block of South Chatham Street, Janesville. Stolen from the garage were $2 and two bicycles.

-- FINANCIAL CARD CRIMES reported at 8:42 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 2900 block Ruger Avenue, Janesville. A woman reported that her credit card information was used to make thousands of dollars of purchases.

-- BURGLARY reported at 11:39 a.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Adel Street, Janesville. Nothing was reported taken.

-- BURGLARY reported at 11:16 a.m. Monday to a car in the 2600 block of Vail Court, Janesville. Reported taken were an airbag valued at $1,000, a car stereo valued at $300, a laptop valued at $4,000, a GPS valued $400 and a dashboard valued at $200.

-- BURGLARY reported at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday to a tool shed in the 1400 block of Ontario Drive, Janesville. Nothing was reported stolen.

Accidents

-- COUNTY LINE ROAD NORTH OF HIGHWAY 59, town of Lima, at 12:25 p.m. Sunday. A northbound motorcycle driven by Gary G. Fultz, 67, Wonder Lake, Ill., attempted to pass a semitrailer truck, which had stopped at a railroad crossing. Fultz lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle. He went into the ditch and struck a sign post. He was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, where he was in fair condition Wednesday afternoon. He was cited for passing at a railroad crossing.

-- HIGHWAY 14 AND PONTIAC DRIVE in Janesville at noon Thursday. Emily S. Quesnell, 26, of 913 N. Church St., No. 205, Elkhorn, was driving west on Highway 14 at Pontiac Drive. Wayne A. Swartwout, 72, of 3526 W. Townline Road, Beloit, was turning north onto Pontiac Drive from the highway. Quesnell's car struck Swartwout's truck. Quesnell and an infant passenger were transported to a local hospital with injuries, but their conditions were not available. Another passenger in Quesnell's car, Julieann Baran, 27, of N7055 Evergreen Lane, Elkhorn, was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Swartwout was ticketed for failure to yield.

Charged

-- ROSBEL I. VELEZ SALAZAR, 22, of 10½ Catlin St., Edgerton, with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, fourth-degree sexual assault and felony bail jumping. He is accused of sexually harassing a woman in her apartment Friday in Edgerton.
