Craig season ends; Milton advances to sectional
Craig High lost 3-0 to Westosha Central in a Division 1 WIAA volleyball regional final Saturday.
The Cougars lost 25-11, 25-7, 25-12, and finished the season 33-10.
“We kind of struggled all night,” Craig coach Blake Budrow said. “We played a very good team, and we didn’t play our best.’’
Regan Sitorius had three kills, Katie Villa eight assists and Kristi Crandall 11 digs for Craig.

n Milton 3, Oregon 1—Milton advanced with its victory over fourth-seeded Oregon after splitting a pair of matches with the Panthers earlier this season.
The fifth-seeded Red Hawks took the first game, 25-21, dropped the second game, 25-14, and won the final two games, 25-12 and 25-18.
Milton plays at 6 p.m. Thursday at top-seeded Burlington in a sectional semifinal.

Why no stats or any kind of article on the Milton Redhawks? The Gazette sure seems to forget how many Milton school district residents buy their newspapers and support Janesville businesses.
