Craig swimmers defeat East in final Big Eight dual
JANESVILLE Janesville Craig's girls swim team ended the Big Eight Conference dual meet season with a win Thursday.
Cady Gansen won two events to lead the Cougars to a 115-55 win over Madison East.
Craig finished the Big Eight dual meet season with a 4-5 record.
"It was a solid performance from everybody in the lineup," Craig coach Brian Kitzman said. "It was Parents Night and Senior Night, so to have our regular-season end like it did was real positive.
"Now we have to continue to work hard as we prepare for the upcoming tournament meets."
Emma Schmaling and Alexis Roach also won events for the Cougars.
Craig competes at the Big Eight Conference Meet on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Middleton.
