Sex offender being released Oct. 16

— The state Department of Community Corrections announced that a sex offender will be released to the Rock Valley Community Corrections Program, 203 W. Sunny Lane south of Janesville, on Tuesday.

Robert A. Hendrickson, 53, was convicted of third-degree sexual assault in 2006 and child enticement in 2010, according to a news release from the Rock County Sheriff's Office.

Hendrickson will be monitored with a GPS system while at the Rock Valley program.

Hendrickson will not be allowed any unsupervised activities in the community without prior approval of a corrections agent. He will not be allowed to contact his victims or any minors. He also will not be allowed to consume alcohol or drugs or enter any establishment that sells alcoholic beverages.
