Jets swept by Tomahawks
It was a lost weekend for the Janesville Jets.
Making their first trip out East this season, the Jets were swept by the Johnstown (Pa.) Tomahawks in an NAHL two-game series.
Johnstown scored just 19 seconds into the game Sunday en route to a 4-1 win.
Janesville (4-4-2 in the North Division) got within a goal early in the third on Brett Bauza's power-play goal, but Johnstown responded with two goals to close out the scoring.
Austin Priebe suffered the loss in goal despite stopping 42 of 46 shots. Janesville managed only 17 shots on goal.
The Jets play at Kalamazoo in a two-game series this weekend.
