Craig volleyball sweeps two matches
JANESVILLE Janesville Craig's girls volleyball is in a groove.
The Cougars continue to pile up the wins after sweeping a pair of nonconference matches Tuesday night.
Craig beat both Delavan-Darien and Beloit Memorial, 2-0, to improve to
29-6 on the season.
"It was nice to get these matches in because otherwise we would've had a long layoff before playing (first-place) Middleton next Tuesday," Craig coach Blake Budrow said. "The girls continue to play well.
"Our serving has been outstanding lately, and everyone is contributing up and down the lineup."
Craig, 6-2 in the Big Eight Conference, hosts Middleton on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
