Madison West's nine 3s bury visiting Craig
MADISON Madison West's boys basketball team was dialed in from long distance Thursday night.
The Regents made nine three-point baskets en route to a 65-55 Big Eight Conference win over visiting Janesville Craig.
Craig (2-2, 0-2) trailed by only four after three quarters but could not get even as West made six free throws down the stretch.
Malik Clemens had a game-high 20 points for West.
Junior guard Jerry Ngobi had 18 points to lead Craig, while Nolan Maresch had 11, including three three-point baskets.
Craig hosts Verona at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in a Big Eight game.
