Man robs woman, then disappears
JANESVILLE — A Janesville woman said she was robbed in her driveway Monday night on the city's south side.
The crime was reported at 10:02 p.m. in the 1200 block of Joliet Street. The woman said she backed her car out of her garage and was stopped on her driveway when a man opened the passenger door and climbed in.
The man demanded money and said he had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed, according to a Janesville Police Department news release.
According to the release, the man took money and some prescription medications. He was last seen running west.
Officers checked the area with a K-9 team but did not find a suspect.
