Trewyn leads Whippets to win
Brooke Trewyn led four Whitewater players in double figures with 30 points, and the Whippets defeated Lake Mills, 81-75, in a nonconference girls basketball game Tuesday night.
Trewyn made 8 of 12 free throws en route to her 30-point night.
Sarah Schumacher added 16, and Gina Hollingshead and Kailey Reynolds each added 10 in the victory. Reynolds suffered an ankle injury early in the game and sat out the remaining quarters.
