-- RICARDO F. ARREGUIN, 34, of 2807 Woodlane Drive, Janesville, at 7:55 p.m. Monday at Lexington and Refset drives in Janesville on charges of maintaining a drug-trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia.
-- DONTE J. GRANT, 26, of 1900 Rockport Road, Janesville, at 4 p.m. Monday at home on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police executed a search warrant at the home.
Accidents
-- KENNEDY ROAD SOUTH OF BARBERRY DRIVE, JANESVILLE at 6:12 a.m. Friday. A southbound vehicle driven by Nicholas D. Hughes, 25, of 424 Plumb Street, Milton, left the road, struck a rock on a terrace and overturned. Hughes and a passenger, Joseph W. Brzinski, 33, of 2613 Sauk Drive, Janesville, were transported to St. Mary's Janesville Hospital, where they were treated and released. Hughes was ticketed for inattentive driving.
Charged
-- JORDAN A.L. BYRD, 18, of 931 1/2 Euclid Ave., Beloit, with physical abuse of a child, false imprisonment, strangulation and intimidating a victim. He is accused of hitting and choking a 16-year-old girl whom he knows on Thursday in Footville. He also is accused of blocking the girl when she tried to walk away from him and contacting her from the Rock County Jail on Nov. 9.

-- JEROD E. SANDLIN, 20, of 1006 21st St., No. 68, Brodhead, on Thursday on charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child, third-degree sexual assault of a child, exposing genitals to a child and felony bail jumping. The charges stem from an incident this summer in Brodhead involving a girl who was 15 at the time.
